MOTOElastico

MOTOElastico

MOTOElastico is an Italian architecture office based in Korea, made of a dynamic team of architects, designers, and motorcycle enthusiasts. The word MOTOElastico means a harmonic motion swinging between two different realities. The challenge of this project was to redesign a website that would carry the momentum of the old and deliver simplicity of the new. I came up with a system of animated gifs representing each of their projects and color-coded by category type. The updated version supports bilingual type to accommodate audiences both in Korea and abroad.

Mototjari Project

Mototjari is MOTOElastico's latest product and a reinterpretation of the traditional Korean Dotjari or picnic mat. To launch its release, a simple step-by-step guideline was made for users in how to participate by borrowing public space in their cities. #borrowedcity
